Laminate
IDP offers three types of laminates – clear, clear with smart chip cutouts and stock and custom holograms. IDP laminates provide a layer of protection over your printed cards, making them more durable by providing protection from wear and fading. While clear laminates offer standard protection, hologram laminates go further by embedding a holographic watermark to your ID cards, securing your cards from tampering and counterfeiting. IDP offers generic stock holograms that are readily available. Three vertical market holograms are available are “Official Fire/ Rescue”, “Authentic Law Enforcement”, and “Official Medical”. We also offer three more generic holograms called “Globe Secure”, “Globe Flags”, and “Secure Waves”. Finally, IDP offers a clear laminate that adds to the cards life, but does not have a holographic image. IDP offers custom holograms with minimum order requirement of 60 rolls for the 51 Series and 40 rolls for the 70 Series and WISE Series. Custom hologram originations are unique to your organization and will be held in a secured facility to ensure the protection of your brand imagery.
